Not used this fish and chips before even after living in Crewkerne for around 2 or so years, second time having their fish and chips, and so far has been delicious. Portion sizes are great, the batter on their sausages are lovely. Peafritters are also lovely, batter is not too greasy.

I tried Crewkerne Fish bar for the first time this evening. When I arrived a chap was complaining that the chips and food he had received previously (night before) were less than satisfactory. During this exchange the staff were patient, polite and didn't charge him full price for his food. I thought that was quite decent as the story he told and his actions of returning to the same place so soon didn't quite add up. My experience was, that, the food was really good, even after a 20 minute drive home. The staff were great and I'd happily return again.

What an incredible place!!. I had a tiff with the missus, decided on a drive out. As a peace offering I thought I would get us a chippy as we haven't had one for years. Called into the Crewkerne Fish Bar as it was empty & was served by a fantastic bloke. Put it this way, I was so impressed with the service & the friendliness there is no way I would go anywhere else in the future. Thank you so much & very much appreciated what you gave us yesterday. Top man & a credit to your business!!

Called in late after travelling all day. The fish was cooked from fresh, the chips were gorgeous as was the curry sauce, and all at a very affordable price, lower than a lot of others I have used this year. My local chippy from now on.

Had a couple of lovely fresh pieces of haddock here. Chips were decent too. Shop itself was spotlessly clean and service well organised - did have to wait for the haddock but that is because it was cooked to order. We were visiting Crewkerne on a short break, but will definitely be back if we are in the area again.
